Information for Judges

Thank you for volunteering to judge the GMUSL Moot Court Board’s First Year Competition. Participation from judges and attorneys greatly enhances the quality of the competition and provides our competitors with tremendous learning opportunities.

The First Year Competition will be held on Saturday, April 2 and Sunday, April 3. Below is a complete schedule of the weekend’s events. Register Here! 

Saturday, April 2
8:00-8:45 a.m. Breakfast/Morning Judges Check-in
8:45-8:55 a.m. Judges Briefing
9:00 a.m.-12:10 p.m. Morning Rounds
12:10-1:10 p.m. Lunch/Afternoon Judges Check-in
1:10-1:20 p.m. Judges Briefing
1:30- 3:50 p.m. Afternoon Rounds

Sunday, April 3
9:30-10:15 a.m. Breakfast/Morning Judges Check-in
10:15-10:25 a.m. Judges Briefing
10:30-12:00 p.m. Morning Rounds
12:00-12:45 p.m. Lunch/Afternoon Judges Check-in
1:00-1:10 p.m. Judges Briefing
1:20- 2:00 p.m. Octofinals (Top 16)
2:10-2:50 p.m. Quarterfinals (Top 8)
3:00- 4:30 p.m. Two Semifinal Rounds (Top 4)
